Fact & Fiction

The Author has Spoken and we know that certain Clues are set for the Future, yet we can still delect in the delightful game of crystal-ball gazing...

She said, she said...

~Believe it or not, but Rowling has confirmed that in fact the last chapter of Book Seven is already written and safely hidden away under lock and key (and Security Troll) somewhere in one of her many notebooks...Apparently (according to Time magazine a couple of years ago) the last word of the last book is "scar."

~Rowling also says that she thinks Book 6 will be shorter (because she has to "move them around a lot") but Book 7 will be as long as or longer than Book 5 because she won't want to let go of Harry & Co. Can't blame her for that!

~ Apparently all the characters' fates are predetermined by now, so don't get too attached to anyone...

~Book 6 is already in the works...Rowling started it around Christmastime, 2002...yay!

Pure & Unadulterated Speculation...

~ Ron and Hermione will get together. Harry and Ginny will get together. Ron will die and Harry and Hermione will get together. Hermione and Viktor Crum will get together. Ron will get eaten by a veela. Harry and Luna Lovegood will get together. He-Who-Must-Not- Be-Named will kill the love of Harry's life thus spurring Harry to successfully use Avada Kedavra against the Dark Lord, but leaving Harry never able to fall in love again. Ron and Hermione will get together. Did I already say that?

~We will find out that Snape was once secretly and madly in love with Lily Evans, thus better explaining Snape's hatred of James Potter and his subsequent hatred of Harry, who would in this case be a daily reminder to Snape that the love of his life chose his enemy...(Too bad this explanation seems unlikely since Snape called Lily a "Mudblood")

~ Hagrid will die. Dumbledore will die. Draco will die and we feel sorry for him? (cough cough...)

~ Supposedly, in the last book, Draco and Harry will team up to fight a dark force together. Doesn't seem likely since Draco seems to be pretty proud of Daddy-Death- Eater.

~ Most people also speculate that Snape shall be redeemed in the last book as well as (perhaps) fall in love. Well I should bloody well hope so! In addition, I think we shall finally figure out why Dumbledore trusts Snape so much...Has Snape saved Dumbledore's life in the past? Either that or Snape will finally show his true Death-Eater colours...and tell us why Death Eaters can't say Voldemort's name???

~More memories and swimming in the Penseive...

~Sirius will come back. Somehow. (I don't know how.) Maybe there is a portrait of him somewhere that Harry can talk to? Also, there might be something more to do with that mirror Sirius gave him...

~More prophecies!!! Or is one good one enough for a series?

~More information about Wormtail. After all, doesn't it make you wonder how such a weak personality that idolized James and Sirius came to betray them and become Voldemort's "most loyal servant"??? Imperius curse? I think there's more to it than that...

~More soul-searching for Harry...I think there are special powers of Harry's that we don't know yet about. After all, I'm assuming that Harry will kill Voldemort at the end of Book 7 and if that is to happen while Harry is at the delicate and still very young age of almost-18, well then he must certainly still have some more tricks up his sleeve...Like maybe that power that Harry has, alluded to in the prophecy, which wasn't as explicitly explained in Book 5 as I would have liked?

~Showdowns between Harry and Voldemort. Of course we know they are coming...maybe another Dumbledore-Voldemort showdown as well. After all, Tom Riddle was Dumbledore's student 50 years ago...Time to tie up loose ends?

~Harry and Ron and Hermione and George and Fred and Ginny will all be allowed to joine the Order.

~ Rowling says that right now she still thinks that the series will end as planned at Book Seven, though she says that things are liable to change...like starting a whole new plot in Book 7... Additionally, one person of Harry's "graduating class" at Hogwarts will end up as a professor there. Apparently it shall be neither Harry, Hermione, or Ron. Most pages cite Neville as the would-be teach.

~Oh and 50 years from now...Hermione: Headmistress of Hogwarts; Ron: Minister of Magic; Harry: English Quidditch Team's Head Coach...

Well, that's all for now. If you have any corrections, send an owl. All posts are left to my, the webmistress's, discretion and most of the rumours on this site are of my own imagination...imagine if they were true...
